Jeremy & Katie had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony and reception on the last Saturday in May. Their wedding venue – Willow Springs Estates in Richland, PA – has accommodations that met their needs for every part of the day – including some pre-ceremony guy time. The groom and groomsmen started their day fishing from one of the docks along the edge of the quarry. 🙂
So many perfect moments happened throughout the day – the tears at the ceremony, the bride and groom driving away in his vintage truck, and so much more – but one of my favorites was when the DJ, Ken Brungarz, played “Proud to be an American.” The groom and other guests in attendance serve in the military, and their wedding was on Memorial Day Weekend – so the energy level soared while the words of the song blasted in the pavilion. A spontaneous circle started and soon grew beyond the dance floor as those sitting got up and joined in – holding hands and raising them high.
The party kept going on the dance floor until a beautiful lantern send-off at the end of the night. Congrats Jeremy and Katie!
