Schuylkill County PA Engagement Photos | Drew + Jesse!

This was one of the most poignant locations possible for a photo shoot. Drew and Jesse’s engagement sessions in Schuylkill county was atop the fields, aside the tractor and inside the barn on her grandparents’ farm where Drew grew up playing and roaming. The day we took these engagement photos, was THE DAY that her grandparents closed on the farm. It went up for auction the week before. During the session, auction bidders were still arriving and hauling away equipment that they had purchased. When we opened the barn doors, Drew said it was the first time she had seen it empty.

Life is a story with so many twists and turns, ups and downs, endings and new beginnings. The ending of this part of the family’s story with the farm, comes right at a time of new beginnings for this couple. I imagine that some of those days, roaming on the farm, Drew would dream of things in her future – what she might be when she grew up, who she might marry. Now the very place of those dreams, they are becoming a reality. In the very place, just in time.
