Congratulations to David and Meredith on their awesome little boy! Julian Ross. His middle name carrries on his mom’s maiden name. It seems that little Julian couldn’t wait to meet his parents – he came over 3 weeks early and was 5 lbs, 7oz. at birth.
We incorporated some key themes in this newborn session that tell a litte more of this beautiful family’s story. Vintage suitcases – they love to travel! Their relationship was long distance for a time which prompted lots of road trips – they have also traveled in Europe, Mexico and all around the US together. The atlas in the photograph belonged to David’s grandfather who traveled worldwide. The photo of their hands stacked featuring their wedding bands is a symbol of their marriage – they recently celebrated their 5th anniversary. In those 5 years they have also celebrated two other pregnancies, which sadly ended in miscarriage – the white balloons are in memoy of those first two babies. The M&D on their bedroom wall seemed appropriate to include – while it represents their first names, it also now represents their titles as Mom and Dad 🙂 And of course we took some photos in the charming mint nursery!
Congrats again and thanks so much for the honor of choosing Life Story for your newborn photos!
*special thanks to antique experts Rachel & Josh for letting us borrow the suitcases – you may have seen their Lock Ridge engagement photos on our blog recently.
