As wedding photographers in the Reading, PA, area, we have the opportunity to photograph many of the great wedding venues that Berks County offers. This post is part of a 7 post series that highlights our favorite ceremony and reception wedding venues in Berks County.
Stokesay Castle Facts:
Venue capacity range – Depending on the room the capacity range is anywhere from 14 guests to 400.
– The Royal Library : available for up to 14 guests
– The Duchess Room : available for up to 20 guests
– Excalibur Wine Cellar : available for up to 40 guests
– Lord’s Dining Room : available for up to 60 guests
– The Royal Ballroom : available for up to 400 guests with a dance floor and up to 500 guests without
Indoor ceremony options – Depending on size of wedding there is a few indoor ceremony options
Outdoor ceremony options – They have a beautiful pergola located in their shaded wedding garden. It is private and can seat up to 400 guests
Top features – Wedding packages are priced per person and include a 5 hour reception which includes a cocktail hour that includes 4 butler passed hors d’oeuvres, fresh vegetable crudité display, and a display of international and domestic cheeses, a 4 hour well brand bar (which includes our 6 draft beers, 6 house wines, and champagne), two entrée (or buffet) option with warm rolls & butter & either their Stokesay Castle Specialty Salad or Caesar Salad, with additional salad options available as an upgrade, a traditional wedding champagne toast, a customized wedding cake from The Well Dressed Cake, ivory or black linens, and an on-site, day-of event coordinator and wedding director- complete with a 45 minute ceremony rehearsal the day before your wedding. There are plenty of upgrade options available and our talented and experienced Executive Chef is able to create customized menu options to cater to any specific requests. Don’t like what you see on the menu? Simply call them up and they will create a menu specifically catered to you and your wedding.
