Stirling Guest Hotel Facts:

The Stirling Guest Hotel, one of Berks County’s last great residences, is a Chateauesque-styled mansion designed by Harvard-educated American architect Theophilus P. Chandler (1845-1928). Since 1998, Stirling has been host to hundreds of wedding receptions and ceremonies, as well as countless other special events.  Given that experience, the service at the Stirling has achieved a level of elegance and efficiency like no other in the area. Stirling offers: Chef Ron Liszcz, an in-house chef to prepare your personalized menu; seasoned servers and bartenders; and experienced event coordinators to help you plan your special day.

Venue Capacity Range – Indoor 120, Tented 300

Indoor ceremony options – The historic and elegant great rooms on the main floor of the mansion.

Outdoor ceremony options – Staircase at the covered veranda, on the lawn facing an extraordinary Japanese maple, at the arbor in the grove

Indoor Reception Options – Individual room for an intimate wedding of 20 guests, or use the entire main floor of the mansion to accommodate your event of up to 120 guests. Additionally, Stirling has several outside locations to expand your event including an elegant covered porch that is often used for the cocktail hour before dinner.

Outdoor Reception Options – Tented reception on the lawn

Top features – From getting ready, to your creative portraits, to your ceremony and reception – the Stirling has everything you need at one location. With their 15 guest rooms, they can also accommodate overnight stays for you and your guests.

Indoor ceremony options – The rolling hills of Berks County are home to many beautiful barns that you might consider!

Outdoor ceremony options – We have seen couples choose open fields, lakeside hills and many other beautiful spots found by keeping an open mind. One couple we photographed was married under the tree on his family’s farm where they carved their names when they were dating!

Top features: Unique location! Personalized experience. More time to set up and tear down. Fewer rules. And the opportunity for meaningful memories on a property that already has meaning for you!

Stokesay Castle Facts:

Venue capacity range – Depending on the room the capacity range is anywhere from 14 guests to 400.
– The Royal Library : available for up to 14 guests
– The Duchess Room : available for up to 20 guests
– Excalibur Wine Cellar : available for up to 40 guests
– Lord’s Dining Room : available for up to 60 guests
– The Royal Ballroom : available for up to 400 guests with a dance floor and up to 500 guests without
Indoor ceremony options – Depending on size of wedding there is a few indoor ceremony options
Outdoor ceremony options – They have a beautiful pergola located in their shaded wedding garden. It is private and can seat up to 400 guests
Top features – Wedding packages are priced per person and include a 5 hour reception which includes a cocktail hour that includes 4 butler passed hors d’oeuvres, fresh vegetable crudité display, and a display of international and domestic cheeses, a 4 hour well brand bar (which includes our 6 draft beers, 6 house wines, and champagne), two entrée (or buffet) option with warm rolls & butter & either their Stokesay Castle Specialty Salad or Caesar Salad, with additional salad options available as an upgrade, a traditional wedding champagne toast, a customized wedding cake from The Well Dressed Cake, ivory or black linens, and an on-site, day-of event coordinator and wedding director- complete with a 45 minute ceremony rehearsal the day before your wedding.  There are plenty of upgrade options available and our talented and experienced Executive Chef is able to create customized menu options to cater to any specific requests.  Don’t like what you see on the menu?  Simply call them up and they will create a menu specifically catered to you and your wedding.

Green Valley Chateau Facts:

Green Valley Chateau offers several different options for your wedding needs. Whether you want an indoor or outdoor wedding they have you covered. Their 6,000 square foot tent accommodates up to 350 guests. If you prefer an indoor wedding, their Grand Ballroom offers a beautiful setting for your reception for up to 300 guests. For a small intimate ceremony they offer a patio and two sun rooms.
